About this track:

The first single “Undercover” was originally born out of an industrial, instrumental track that Ryan had sent through to Aleesha to try vocal ideas on. On a bushwalk with headphones at a high decibel, Aleesha wrote lyrics and vocal melodies to flesh out the track, thematically exploring notions of control, and lack thereof. What she returned to the band was a Madonna inspired catharsis that turned the entire track on its head. Ben. J took the separate tracks home to pull apart, add to, and rebuild, while the final piece was forged in the studio by Ben Morgan, pulling it all together with the addition of the understated yet ethereal guitar lines.
“Undercover” became the beginnings of one of Dive Bell's most intense and bold statements.
